Job Vacancy: Marketing Coordinator
Part Time / Full Time / Or Contract / Newtown, Geelong
Commencing late January / early February 2024
Are you a creative type with a love for writing, talking and understanding ‘the why’ behind customer behaviour and brand success? Do you want to be a key member of a team that prides itself on quality, innovative thinking and creativity? We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator who is motivated with a positive ‘can do’ attitude join our growing marketing agency.
To be successful in the role, you will be able to demonstrate your ability in the following key criteria:
Bright and friendly personality with good people skills
Ability to ‘live the brand’ - to walk in the shoes of brand customers to assist in creating interesting, relevant content
Social media management experience
A self starter - an organised person with drive and reliability
Able to work individually demonstrating initiative, but also willing and capable to work as part of a team
Confident communicator and ability to effectively liaise with team members and clients
Excellent grammar and spelling, with copy proofing experience
Competent in using standard office software such as Word and Excel, Canva, Meta Business Suite, Adobe
Previous experience in a services business or agency (preferred but not essential)
This position will report to the Managing Director and will work on:
Supporting the team to creating brand social plans - emphasising creativity and brand insight - and then implemention using relevant social platforms
Content creation - assist in ideation, planning shoots, coordinating talent and client liaison
Maintaining the workflow to the highest of standards
Delivering exceptional customer service to our clients
Proofreading materials such as blogs, advertising and design outputs
We are determined to find the right person and hence are open to discussion regarding flexible working hours to cater for existing commitments with the right candidate. This could be part time, full time or contract work.
